If you don’t plan to use your vehicle for a while and plan to keep it parked on your property or at a storage facility, there are many things you can do to protect your vehicle. Irreparable damages can still happen to vehicles when they are in storage, and you can minimize your chances by taking the proper precautions beforehand. Car Keeping your car covered while it’s not in use is one of the best ways to protect the exterior. Your car should also be thoroughly cleaned in advance to remove any bird droppings or water stains that could damage the paint. Filling the gas tank will prevent moisture from forming inside and may save you from having to undergo costly repairs. It’s also a good idea to start your car and let the engine run for a few minutes every couple of weeks in order to prolong the battery’s life.
